ICE CREAM LAYOUT

Happy Wednesday Everyone!
Last night I worked on a layout for a Sketch Challenge over at Paper Issues.  I have to admit, I had a hard time with the sketch, but once I got it going I had so much fun with it!  I'm pretty happy with it.  I used a picture from our recent trip to Mackinaw. Eating ice cream.  What else would I use, right?

Thanks again Paper Issues for such great inspiration!  Have a good day!

YEP. ANOTHER ONE.

I couldn't help it.  I had to make another page for the "Seas The Day" challenge.  I am loving the Summer Vibes from Simple Stories. The colors are gorgeous.
So here it is.
I'm pretty sure I'm done for the day.  Happy Friday!

INSPIRATION

Happy Friday!
Last night I finished up another layout.  I was inspired by two things this time.  One was a layout by Jill Sprott.  I love her style!  And this layout is so great.  The journaling all over looks so fun and I had to use it.  Thanks for the inspiration, Jill!  The next thing that inspired me was of course from Paper Issues.  (I swear they are not paying me to give them credit every time I scrap. LOL) This time it was from the PINSPIRE ME CHALLENGE.  Love the mood board.  The fair pictures reminded me that I have a ton of pictures from last summer that I need to scrap.  Thanks PI girls!  Here's what I came up with from all that inspiration.
This was so fun to make.  Time to print out the rest of the fair pictures and find another challenge to use them on!  Have a wonderful holiday weekend!

ONCE AGAIN

Well, I did it again.  I haven't posted here in awhile.  For one, I don't think anyone really checks out my blog (LOL) and for another, I haven't scrapped so there was nothing to post.  But once again, Paper Issues to the rescue!  This time I was inspired by a scraplift challenge AND the current link party, "Seas The Day".  We just got back from a 3 day family vacation in Mackinaw City.  I have a ton of pictures so it was perfect timing.  Here's what a created.  The picture is from our first day on one of the docks by the hotel.

This next one is for the Scraplift Challege.  I loved Jennifer Holloway McMurtrey's layout and had to create one of my own.  Not exactly like hers, but there are a lot of things that are inspired from her page! And can I tell you, this picture of my daughter and her horse is my absolute favorite right now.

Thanks again, Paper Issues for pulling me out of my scrapping lull.  Now on to the next challenge!
